Φιλμάροντας με «σύμμαχο» τη φύση, η Zanias παρουσιάζει ένα ακόμη νέο τραγούδι!
Ύστερα από την κάθαρση που επήλθε από το Untethered, έρχεται το «οργανικό» video clip για το Unraveled – το δεύτερο τραγούδι από το νέο, ολοκληρωμένο album της Zanias, που αναμένεται να κυκλοφορήσει στις 6 Σεπτεμβρίου. Με πλάνα από τις ακτές του Queensland και σ’ ένα -γνώριμο για την ίδια- δάσος στη γενέτειρά της την Αυστραλία, πλαισιώνεται μια νέα «κατάθεση» υπό το ξεχωριστό καλλιτεχνικό και προσωπικό της πρίσμα, με τη βοήθεια του φακού και μιας εμπνευσμένης DIY μαγνητοσκόπησης.

Με το Unearthed η Zanias συμπυκνώνει τις post-punk, techno και italo επιρροές της σε μια συλλογή που περιέχει ταυτόχρονα μελαγχολικά κι ανεβαστικά τραγούδια. Συγκεκριμένα, εξερευνά την πολλαπλότητα της ανθρώπινης διασύνδεσης και είναι γραμμένο σε μια περίοδο που η ίδια η έννοιά της κατέστη πιο αραιή από ποτέ. Ηχογραφήσεις από τη φύση, φωνητικά samples κι ένα εύρος ακουστικών οργάνων συνεργάζονται σε μια μελωδική, «ελισσόμενη» synth δομή με καθαρούς, παρακινητικούς ρυθμούς έχοντας στο πλάι τους τη γνώριμη -και φυσικά επιδραστική- φωνή της που εκπέμπει προσωπικούς στοχασμούς ανεκπλήρωτων επιθυμιών και στωικής αποδοχής. Μια δημιουργία που στο σύνολό της βρίσκει το φως στον πόνο που πηγάζει από την ήδη διευθετημένη μοναξιά.

After the cathartic ritual of Untethered, up next is the “organic” video clip for Unraveled – the second track from the new full length album by Zanias, that will be officially released on the 6th of September. With stills from the shores of Queensland and a -familiar to her- forest in her homeland Australia, a new “testament” is revealed through the camera lens and an inspired DIY filming, embraced by her distinctive artistic and personal prism.

With Unearthed Zanias condenses her post-punk, techno and italo influences into a collection of simultaneously brooding and uplifting pop songs. The album explores the multiplicities of human connections, written at a time when connectedness was a resource more scarce than ever before. Field recordings from nature, vocal samples and an array of acoustic instruments are manipulated within a structure of catchy, melodic synth maneuvers and driving rhythms, accompanied by her familiar and powerful voice conveying personal musings on hopeless desires and stoic acceptance. Unearthed seeks the light and finds it within the exquisite pain of reckoning loneliness.
