Το πετυχημένο φωτογραφικό project American Public Libraries του φωτογράφου Robert Dawson και της Ellen Manchester πρόσφατα επεκτάθηκε σε παγκόσμιο επίπεδο. Το αντρόγυνο από την Καλιφόρνια ταξιδεύει στον κόσμο και μας αποκαλύπτει την μαγεία του βιβλίου, με την κοινωνική του διάσταση, εξερευνώντας τις δημόσιες βιβλιοθήκες όλου του κόσμου αλλά και τις ιδιωτικές, από κάθε λάτρη του βιβλίου που γνωρίζει. Η μοναδική συλλογή που θα δεις, κρύβει μέσα θησαυρούς! Από την αρχαιότερη βιβλιοθήκη της Ευρώπης και απομεινάρια κατεστραμμένω βιβλίων από πολέμους, μέχρι αυτοσχέδιες μικρές βιβλιοθήκες στο Ισραήλ.
