Τα Architectural Photography Awards 2019 χρηματοδοτούνται από το Sto και υποστηρίζονται από το World Architecture Festival (WAF). Οι φετινές υποβολές ξεπέρασαν τις 2000 από 42 χώρες. Το 29% των υποβολών προέρχονται από Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, το 11% από τις ΗΠΑ και το 9% από την Κίνα.
Η shortlist αποτελείται από 4 υποψηφιότητες σε 6 διαφορετικές κατηγορίες, Exterior, Interior, Sense of Place, Buildings in Use, Mobile. Το φετινό θέμα είναι το “Shelter” (Καταφύγιο) και το “Portfolio” με προσανατολισμό το “Social Housing”. Οι φωτογραφίες θα εκτεθούν στο WAF του Amsterdam από τις 4 μέχρι τις 6 Δεκεμβρίου, όπου οι επισκέπτες μπορούν να ψηφίσουν για τους νικητές. Η ανακοίνωση των νικητών θα γίνει την Παρασκευή 6 Δεκεμβρίου.
