Με τον μυθικό Άτλαντα ως θέμα, η Agora Records παρουσιάζει μια νέα χορταστική συλλογή!
Η Agora Records κυκλοφόρησε στις 27 Αυγούστου μια νέα συλλογή για το concept της οποίας επιλέχθηκε ο Άτλας, ο μυθικός γίγαντας που καταδικάστηκε μετά την ήττα των Τιτάνων να κουβαλάει στους ώμους του τον Ουράνιο Θόλο. Συνολικά, περιέχονται 11 κομμάτια από 12 καλλιτέχνες με το album να είναι διαθέσιμο για αγορά σε ψηφιακή μορφή. Umbraid | @umbraid
Ο Umbraid απεικονίζει τις ελπίδες και τους φόβους της γενιάς του 2000 μέσα από γρήγορη techno, εμπνευσμένη από industrial και μελαγχολικά στοιχεία παρμένα από την trance, με στόχο να φτιάξει μια εικόνα ενός δυστοπικού μέλλοντος. Κύριο χαρακτηριστικό του, όσον αφορά το τεχνικό κομμάτι, είναι τα συγκινησιακά synths και τα έντονα kicks που τον βοηθούν να αποκτήσει έναν ισχυρό δεσμό με τον ακροατή.

Ο Pad είναι ένας νέος DJ και παραγωγός από την Πολωνία με παρουσία σε labels όπως COUP, The Meaning of Rave, Khazad Records και Occult Rhythms.

Το μυστήριο που περιστρέφεται γύρω από τον character1 μπορεί να «εξιχνιαστεί» με μια ματιά στον ψηφιακό του κατάλογο στο Bandcamp και στις 4 προσωπικές του παραγωγές, που χαρακτηρίζονται από retro αισθητική και φουτουριστικά vibes.
Alex Krell | @alexkrell
Ο Alex Krell είναι ένας παραγωγός από την Λιθουανία που εστιάζει σε μοντέρνους ήχους της σκοτεινής, deep techno. Με αναφορά σε επιρροές όπως Queen, Nirvana και Led Zeppelin φτιάχνει το δικό του απίθανο μουσικό background, που χαρακτηρίζεται από μια ξεχωριστή δυναμική. Η προσέγγισή του οδηγείται από μια μελωδική και συναισθηματική σκοπιά, χωρίς φυσικά να λείπει η αδρεναλίνη, η ευφορία και η retro rock και rave αισθητική.
Monsieur Nobody | @monsieurnobody
Ένας αινιγματικός καλλιτέχνης, ο Monsieur Nobody συνενώνει στις techno παραγωγές του τα ζεστά pads με τις αλλόκοτες, ψυχρές μελωδίες για να προξενήσει το συναίσθημα μιας εκ βαθέων επανάστασης. Συχνά επιλέγει να συμπεριλάβει ήχους από το περιβάλλον στις παραγωγές του και το 2016 ξεκίνησε τη δισκογραφική Eradys Records παρέα με τον Matrheim. Ένα από τα σημαντικότερα επιτεύγματά του είναι οι διοργανώσεις των warehouse πάρτι στο Παρίσι της ομάδας New’s Cool, τα οποία μάλιστα χαρακτηρίζονται από φιλανθρωπικό χαρακτήρα.

Πειραματισμός, φουτουρισμός, τεχνολογία και συναισθηματικότητα. Με αυτές τις λέξεις θα μπορούσε να χαρακτηριστεί ο δραστήριος και ηχητικά περίεργος Roni Rix. Ο ίδιος είναι υπέρμαχος των άνευ ορίων μουσικών ειδών και αντιλαμβάνεται την μουσική ως μια έκφραση μιας συγκεκριμένης εγκεφαλικής και ψυχικής κατάστασης. Εμείς, ως ακροατές, μπορούμε απλώς να απολαύσουμε ένα μείγμα από techno, acid, electro και να παρατηρήσουμε μερικούς ξεχωριστούς πειραματισμούς στο ενδιάμεσο.
TIARNØLA | @tiarnola
Ο Tiarnøla είναι ένας techno παραγωγός του μελαγχολικού industrial μοτίβου και κατάγεται από το Cork της Ιρλανδίας. Επιπλέον, είναι συνιδρυτής του MTRPLS που αποτελεί μια πλατφόρμα για τα σκληρότερα είδη της ηλεκτρονικής μουσικής.
Charlie Sparks | @charliesparks
Συνώνυμο του Charlie Sparks θα μπορούσε να είναι η λέξη ενέργεια. Γνώριμος για τις μίξεις από acid, industrial, rave και τύπου psytrance φτιάχνει, μέσα από την δική του αύρα, ένα αναπάντεχα ανεβαστικό μοτίβο και στις παραγωγές και στις εμφανίσεις του. Το ξεκίνημά του έγινε από τα σκοτεινά και σκληρά μουσικά υπόγεια της techno που κατάφερε να τα συνδυάσει, σε συναισθηματικό υπόβαθρο, με τις σπουδές του στην αρχιτεκτονική. Όλο αυτό το συνονθύλευμα ιδεών μπορεί να χαρακτηριστεί ως γεμάτο ενέργεια με χαρακτηριστικά ρυθμικούς κι έντονους χτύπους που έχουν την ικανότητα να ηλεκτρίσουν την ατμόσφαιρα στο dancefloor.
COBLE | @coble
Ο Coble είναι ένας 24χρονος καλλιτέχνης από τα προάστια της Γαλλίας με επιρροές που περιλαμβάνουν τους Guy McAffer, JKS, Julian Muller και The Prodigy, ως πιο γνωστούς, με το στιλ του να αμφιταλαντεύεται μεταξύ γρήγορης trance/techno και groov-άτους χτύπους. Ως γνώρισμα θα μπορούσε να χαρακτηριστεί μέσα από τις γεμάτες μπασογραμμές, τον σκληρό ήχο των drums και τις μελωδίες που αποτελούν τον πυρήνα του γρήγορου κι επιδραστικού του στιλ. Οι παραγωγές του, επιπλέον, ακμάζουν μέσα από την σύγκρουση μεταξύ των μηχανικών και οργανικών στοιχείων που είναι εκεί για να φτιάξουν τον ζωηρό παλμό της στιγμής.

Οι U25 ή Univers 25 είναι ένα δίδυμο Γάλλων techno παραγωγών που μετράνε 3 ψηφιακά singles, στο αντίστοιχο Bandcamp, με ιδιαίτερα concepts και μουσικά στοιχεία, που κερδίζουν μέσα από διακριτές μελαγχολικές νότες και ατμοσφαιρικές συνθέσεις.

Having the mythical Atlas as a theme, Agora Records presents its newest compilation!
Agora Records released on August 27 a new compilation for the concept of which Atlas was chosen, the mythical giant who was condemned after the defeat of the Titans to carry the Heavenly Dome on his shoulders. Umbraid depicts the hopes and fears of the millenial generation through fast techno, being inspired by industrial and melancholic elements that stem from trance, having in mind the aim of creating an image of a dystopian future. His main feature, in technical terms, are the emotional synths and the intense kicks that assist him to establish a strong bond with the listener.

Pad is a young DJ and producer from Poland that has a presence on labels such as COUP, The Meaning of Rave, Khazad Records and Occult Rhythms.

Alex Krell | @alexkrell
Alex Krell is a Lithuanian producer focusing on new wave sounds of dark, deep techno. Having influences such as Queen, Nirvana and Led Zeppelin, he creates his own incredible musical background, which is characterized by a very special dynamic. His approach is guided by a melodic and emotional point of view, without of course the lack of adrenaline, euphoria and retro rock and rave aesthetics.
Monsieur Nobody | @monsieurnobody
An enigmatic artist, Monsieur Nobody combines warm pads with spooky, cool melodies in his techno productions to evoke the feeling of an inner, profound rebellion. He often chooses to include environmental sounds in his productions and in 2016 he started the record label Eradys Records together with Matrheim. One of his most important achievements is the setting and organizing of the warehouse parties in Paris as New’s Cool group, which are in fact characterized by a charitable nature.

Experimentation, futurism, technology and sentimentality. With these words the active and musically curious Roni Rix could be accurately described. He is an advocate of no restriction policy to genres and perceives music as an expression of a specific state of mind. We, as listeners, can just enjoy a mix of techno, acid, electro and observe some pleasant experiments in between.

Tiarnøla is a techno producer finding comfort in the melancholic, industrial techno motif and hails from Cork, Ireland. In addition, he is a co-founder of MTRPLS which is a platform for the hardest “divisions” of electronic music.

Charlie Sparks could be synonymous with the word energy. Familiar with the mixture of acid, industrial, rave and psytrance-like style he creates, through his own expanding aura, an unexpectedly uplifting pattern in both his productions and live appearances. He started from the dark and hard musical basements of techno that he successfully managed to combine, on an emotional base, with his studies in architecture. This whole amalgam of ideas has a dedication to full of energy with characteristically rhythmic and intense beats that carry the ability to electrify the atmosphere in the dancefloor.

Coble is a 24-year-old artist from the French suburbs having influences like Guy McAffer, JKS, Julian Muller and The Prodigy, amongst the most famous ones, whose style oscillates between fast-paced trance / techno and groovy beats. As a feature he could be identified by the pumping basslines, the hard beat of drums and the engulfing melodies that are the very core of his rapid and impactful style. His productions, moreover, thrive through the clash between the mechanical and organic elements that help the lively pulse of the moment to bloom.
