9 κομμάτια για την Τιτανομαχία στο τρίτο compilation της Agora Records.

Ακολουθώντας τον μύθο του Θησέα και του Μινώταυρου της δεύτερης συλλογής, ανακοινώθηκε η επόμενη προσθήκη στον κατάλογο της Agora Records αφιερωμένη στην Τιτανομαχία, την επική μάχη μεταξύ Θεών και Τιτάνων στην αρχαιοελληνική μυθολογία. Το compilation κυκλοφόρησε επίσημα σε ψηφιακή μορφή στις 22 Ιανουαρίου και περιλαμβάνει 9 συνολικά κομμάτια από 9 διαφορετικούς καλλιτέχνες.

Το μοτίβο της κυκλοφορίας χωρίζεται σε τρία μέρη, κατά τα οποία εξιστορείται ένα «ηλεκτρονικό όραμα» για τον τρόπο που εκτυλίχθηκαν τα μυθολογικά αυτά γεγονότα. Έτσι, καταλαβαίνουμε πότε περνάμε από το «στρατόπεδο» των τυραννικών Τιτάνων όταν και ακούμε αυτό το σκοτεινό ambient υπόβαθρο, μεταβαίνουμε σε σκηνές μάχης καθώς προμηνύεται η επικείμενη σύγκρουση καθώς το tempo και η ένταση ανεβαίνουν όταν, τελικά, επικρατούν οι Θεοί και ο ήχος κατακλύζεται από ευφορικές μελωδίες ως μαρτυρία μιας νέας ζωής, πραγματικότητας κι ελπίδας.

Στην απλωμένη, αχανή και Relentless Sea του Nw1 έχουμε το στήσιμο του σεναρίου της κυκλοφορίας υποβοηθούμενο από τα ανάλογα, εισαγωγικά μουσικά στοιχεία επικεντρωμένα δηλαδή στην ατμόσφαιρα. Ο SWART ακολουθεί με το Reaction φανερώνοντας μια μουσική τάση για αντιμετώπιση και προετοιμασία των συμβάντων, με ένα tempo που ανεβάζει τους χτύπους και μια ελαφριά επαναληψιμότητα που εμμένει στο κυρίαρχο συναίσθημα -αυτός της σύγκρουσης. Mac Declos και Plastic Body Dance όταν τα πράγματα φαίνεται πως αρχίζουν να κινούνται, ένα κομμάτι το οποίο φέρνει έναν ευπρόσδεκτο χορευτικό ρυθμό. Το ambient του Tkivilsaari με τα αισθητά acid και ατμοσφαιρικά στοιχεία μας επαναφέρει στους Τιτάνες και την μελαγχολία της μάχης για όσα θα «χαθούν», οραματιζόμενο ως The Sorrow of Rhea. Με το As We Stand Together ο Kaltblume φέρνει βαριά kicks για να αποτυπώσει επιτυχημένα έναν πολεμικό παλμό, που επιστρατεύει μια ατμόσφαιρα που «ξεκλειδώνει» την ακρόαση. Σε έναν φρενήρη ρυθμό, ο Fraktur στο Usine à Gaz πυροδοτεί την κυκλοφορία αντικατοπτρίζοντας ένα ευφάνταστο και «μάχιμο dancefloor». Επόμενο είναι το Unbleached από Maharti που μας «κρατά» στην μάχη φανερώνοντας ήχο που προμηνύει την έκβαση με ελαφριά trance vibes. Φτάνοντας προς το τέλος, ο Capon στέκεται σε μια ευφορική διάθεση χρησιμοποιώντας αισθητές μελωδίες κι ένα «γεμάτο» background δίνοντας τον δικό του τρόπο για Relaxation through Hate, για να κλείσουμε με το Blade of Olympus από Tajine Tabasco, σε ένα επίσης χορευτικό tempo που θα λέγαμε πως φανερώνει μια νικητήρια γιορτή.

Ως κυκλοφορία εξυπηρετεί το γενικότερο πλαίσιο του θέματος. Ιδανικά, μπορούν να προκύψουν στον ακροατή εικόνες και ερμηνείες της Τιτανομαχίας ακούγοντάς το καθολικά και αφήνοντας ελεύθερη τη φαντασία να μπει και να αναπαραστήσει τη δεδομένη στιγμή. Τα κομμάτια επικεντρώνονται σε λεπτομέρειες που «χτίζουν» με τον τρόπο τους ένα επικό background, καθώς αντανακλάται η ικανότητα των παραγωγών που συμμετέχουν. Σε επαρκή και, ταυτόχρονα, απολαυστική διάρκεια το καθένα αφιερώνεται στο να «επιβληθεί» στην αισθητική του concept, προξενώντας κλιμακωτά και ισορροπημένα συναισθήματα.

9 tracks about Titanomachy in the third compilation of Agora Records.

Following the myth of Theseus and the Minotaur in the second compilation, a new addition has been announced for Agora Records catalogue that is dedicated to Titanomachy, the war between Gods and Titans in Ancient Greek mythology. The third compilation has been officially released in digital format on 22th of January with nine tracks from nine different artists.

The sequence behind this release is divided into three parts, during which an “electronic vision” is recited about the way those mythical events took place. So, at first we are visiting the tyrannical Titans in a dark ambient background, next we are moving on to scenes of battle as the conflict is about to start with a raising tempo pace and tension, when, finally, the Gods prevail and the sound is enhanced by euphoric melodies as a testimony to a new life, reality and hope.

In the expansive, vast and Relentless Sea of Nw1 we have the setting of the release assisted by the corresponding, introductory musical elements that are focusing on the atmosphere. SWART follows with Reaction revealing a musical tendency to deal with and prepare for upcoming events, with a tempo that raises the heartbeat and a graceful repetition that insists on the “dominant” emotion – that of conflict. Mac Declos and Plastic Body Dance when things seem to start moving, a piece that brings a dance rhythm that is so welcome. The ambient of Tkivilsaari with the characteristic acid and atmospheric elements brings us back to the Titans and the melancholy of the battle for all that will be “lost”, envisioned as The Sorrow of Rhea. With As We Stand Together, Kaltblume brings heavy kicks to successfully capture a war pulse, which employs a composition that “unlocks” our listening. At a frantic pace, Fraktur with Usine à Gaz brings a spark to the release by reflecting an imaginative dancefloor in “battle”. Next is Unbleached by Maharti that keeps us in a war mood, revealing a sound that foretells the outcome with light trance vibes. Coming to the end, Capon stands in a euphoric mood using perceptible melodies and a “full” background providing his way of Relaxation Through Hate, to close the compilation with the Blade Of Olympus by Tajine Tabasco, in a dance tempo that is successfully used to unveil the mood in a winning celebration.

As a release it serves the general context of the subject. Ideally, images and interpretations of the Titanomachy can occur when listened as a whole and inseperable environment, leaving the imagination free to enter and represent each given moment. The tracks focus on details that “build” in their own way an epic background, as it reflects the ability of the participating producers. In sufficient and, at the same time, enjoyable duration, everyone is dedicated to “imposing” on the aesthetics of the concept, causing graduated and balanced emotions which we were so delighted to experience.
